I think Wizard was onto something all those times they wanted Howie Long to play Captain America.

Courtney Cox would have made a great Donna Troy/Wonder Girl if an NTT movie had been made in the late 80s or 90s.

John Cussack was born to play Peter Parker. They just didn't get a movie made when he was young enough.

Warburton was indeed a great candidate for Captain Marvel. Another who would worked is Brad Garret. If he'd hit it big when he was younger.

I've always thought Dennis Quaid was pitch perfect for Hal Jordan too.

Oh Man Chris, that is GREAT casting! It is a shame the timing wasn't right.

I can see that. Patrick Stewart is so talented he can do anything. It would be if they used the the origin story & character of Mr.Freeze from Batman:TAS.

I really want to see Steve Buscemi do something comic related, maybe the Mad Hatter?

              Great thread!!!

I agree that Patrick Warburton would have made a good Shazam but he might have also made a good Punisher.

Luke Cage, Powerman: In the past I would have said Michael Clarke Duncan but now I'd go with Michael Jai White after seeing him in Black Dynamite.

I'd like to see Buscemi play Alberto Falcone, as The Holiday Killer.

Check out this Rolling Stone picture of Danzig...Photoshopped...to a Wolverine likeness...

He's 55 years old now...but...isn't Logan supposed to look in his 50s anyway?

                    Good mention...Mr Axe...

He's done voice-over work. Does that count?

That's a good call. He'd work as the Riddler as well, although I like your Paul Reubens choice better.

I've watched the Spy Kids movies with my kids, and Buscemi looks a bit like the very earliest Bruce Banner by Kirby in those movies.

If not him, maybe Tom Petty? Although if Petty does him,he might sound like Lucky from King of the Hill.
