Comic Book Artists that have drawn movie posters...

I have a couple "The art of..." books and have noticed, especially during the 70's, that comic book artists supplemented their income or completely got out of the comic industry by doing posters for movies. I know Nick Cardy had done some posters:


as did Gray Morrow:



Bernie Wrightson had a lot to do with Captain Stern in Heavy Metal and the list goes on. Anyone else have names and examples of Comic Artists that have drawn Movie Posters?

Cardy did the Apocalypse Now poster? Cool! Man, he's quite the talent, still love his Aquaman work.

Thought of Nick Cardy too. He is one of the most underrated comic artists who ever lived. Still does fantastic work even today.

Dick Giordano did some posters for kung-fu movies in the 70s. There are a few posters shown in "Changing Comics One Day at a Time", including the sequel to "The Street Fighter" where he redrew the same pose for Sonny Chiba up above.

Edited to add: I never knew Cardy did that Star Wars poster either. But now that I look at it knowing, it's so obvious that Leia is a Cardy girl. Only Dick G and John Romita ever rivaled his ability to draw beautiful gals.

Just went to DC's Wikia, Nick Cardy - DC Comics Database , and it says that the only part Nick had in the Star Wars Poster was that he added the Droids to the poster.
