Hmmmm....
I dunno. The outfit really does scream "Wondergirl" to me too; but I don't think most viewers will know who Wondergirl is, and accordingly won't be bothered by it. (The fact that the actress IN the costume is so.... scrawny doesn't help.) I'm more puzzled by the premise: it sounds like the story was originally something completely different that they slapped the "Wonderwoman" name on.

She's very pretty, but she looks more like Diana from Jersey then Diana from Paradise Island.Comment

She was fantastic in "Friday Night Lights". I wonder how much of that was the writing... but with a few exceptions, the folks that have moved on from there have been pretty good in their new shows, too.
My concern isn't the actress or the outfit. The Burton Batman was a pretty radical departure, and now it just accepted as Batman. I worry about David E. Kelly. In my opinion, nothing in his previous work has suggested he is the right guy to helm a Wonder Woman reboot.
Of course, I will still tune in to see whether or not I'm right... can't think of a new series that has generated anywhere near this much hype.Comment
