I don't think it's the costume for me so much as the actress. She doesn't have the presence to pull the character off. I may be wrong when I see the finished product, but just from the photos released, and having seen her in a few things, I don't think she's got it.

No slam on her. Sandra Bullock would not have made a good WW, despite her stardom, acting chops, and good looks. There's an unidentifiable quality that has to be present in actors who play super heroes, especially maskless ones like WW and Superman.

Absolutely agree when you look at Lynda carter even today you go WOW!!!
she was stunning.....the later WW shows that aired on CBS were horrible but she made it worth to watch she just oozes beauty.......

The new suit doesn't looks as cheap and the red boots are better. It now looks like a cosplay suit instead a cheap store bought Party City Halloween costume. Definite improvement but still not on par with other recent movie suits.

I hate to say this but they really need to put some dermablend on the actress. That mole between her eyebrows is going to look like a third eye on big screen HD TVs. Nothing against the actress personally. HD can be a very unforgiving.

OK I'm down with the red boots but that actress just isn't doing it for me as WW...Yeah her boobs are pushed up in the brassiere but I think WW is supposed to be more than that. Maybe it's the in-action screen caps but I don't really sense the confidence of the character....

Excellent point, but I believe it'll be a good combination of character, SCRIPTS, and yes, the visual appearance like Chris and Kingdom mentioned.

The red boots and darker pants are a big help, and I'm trying not to hate on the actress too much, although I agree that she looks more like WG than WW. I still wish they had gone with someone a tad older though.

Here's my thought...take it or leave it.
In comic books, artists can draw nice looking women with perfection and their body parts hanging out along with the "close shave" bikini type shorts but in reality as a woman you know that wouldn't work out very well....having to adjust that outfit or shave here and tuck there. In real life and in comic books there are a lot of things that can be taken for granted.
Maybe the blue pants are just the modern way of trying to tackle a modern Wonder Woman without having to worry about infamous shots of angles that would have to be dropped to the cutting room floor.
Being in the movie/video business I have just started to get my toes wet but I cannot imagine being and actress and having to deal with wardrobe malfunctions.
Unless you are in the porn business, most female actresses like to take be respected for their beautiful frames and looks and sometimes a tuck here and a shave there helps things out or in this case a pair of blue stretch pants.


Heck, I'll check it out. I hated Smallville but after listening to Chris talk about it I finally got hooked the last two seasons...."WHERE IS THE SUIT CLARK KENT??" (I'm still screaming that at the TV). lol

The red boots are better but I'm sorry she still doesn't seem like WW to me. The costume, while ok, still looks like it was for a Halloween party and I'm sorry if I sound like a pig but her boobs not only look fake but too squashed, they don't "fill out" things enough. I'll probably check it out but if the stories are really good and fun I won't last long. It's a comic book character not War and Peace, don't make it confusing or complicated.

Notice the size of what we now call Granny Panties. I bet you there are plenty of cutting room floor shots that were on the floor of the studio. I would almost bet on it.

But the way Wonder Woman is presented now, there is no way to put a costume on an actress without something falling out.
