Anyone watched All Star Superman yet?

I'm enjoying it so far. It really is a homage to all the cool stuff we loved about the silver age Superman.

I wasn't sure how they would adapt the comic, but they managed to squeeze in many of the best elements within the larger story structure. I though the supporting cast was handled quite well too, particularly Lois' reaction to the reveal.

Has everyone seen the Shazam/Supes/Black Adam film? ..What about 'Public Enemies'?
(We have most of the modern DC animated films...enjoy them a lot...well, except for 'Gotham Knight' I think its called...yuck.)

watched the black adam thing on Netflix, its ok. The Spectre short was the best.

^Possibly, but I think they took the gruesome Fleischer/Aparo stories and just imagined it out if they were adapted into a 70s cop show.

I particularly liked the Spectre and Jonah Hex shorts myself.

I didn't really dislike it, probably the only thing that really didn't need to be there was Superman at the time of Captain Marvel's origin.

I liked the Shazam short....I am sure they added Superman to it to try and bring in fans of Supes who might not know much about the big red cheese

All Star Superman was very good. Superman is so centered, calm, & confident. There's nothing brutish or rude or crass or even remotely profane in his portrayal. You would think that wouldn't play with today's audiences, but it was one of the coolest things I've watched in a long time. The movie could have been titled All Star Super-Gentleman.
