Anyone watched All Star Superman yet?

This Frick'en Cartoon was Horrible. The Worse 1 since That lame Batman 1.
Seriously here ...., I lost complete interest half way threw, and fought myself to keep watching. I felt as if I shoulda Smoked some Dope , and then I woulda thought it was Brilliant. It's Superman Meets Artzy Fartzy . I did attack the Flick as an Elsewords Tale, however even that didn't help.

I'd rather Watch Superman 3 and Smallville at the same time.

J man I think you'd be a great movie review host......At the movies with BK.......Today we'll review three movies that I thought sucked!!..... Oh I'd tune in....

I heard "Silver Age" and all the good reviews and I just had to track this down.

Well, I can't say much except I couldn't sit through it... maybe I'll give it
another go later... no more comments for now.

When I hear "Silver Age" and "Elseworlds" and other such stuff, I can't
help but pine for an animated take on WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE MAN
OF TOMORROW. I don't think it's that far-fetched a desire to have.

Have you guys actually read any Silver Age Superman comics?

They were zanier than crap. Gimmick plot after plot. Random characters like Atlas, Samson, Hercules popping in. Characters affected by gasses, rocks, plants, etc (like Lois and the parnoia gas).

I'm not a fan (at all) of what DC has let Morrison do to Batman, but he really didn't do anything in All-Star Superman that Moore didn't do in "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow". He took the Silver Age Superman stories, put a modern spin on them, and brought them to conclusion.

as much complaints about a boring movie.

A WHTTMOT? movie certainly would captivate the bulk of us here.

I expected a lot more. I got it....just found it bland.

I've passed on all of these DC movies since Green Lantern First Flight which was a disappointment IMO....Nothing can seem to top New Frontier for me....
