I like Anne Hathaway. she's absolutely gorgeous.
Not so sure about Bane but if they play him right, as he is portrayed in the comics as an evil genius, then it might work

I bet romance between Catwoman and Batman is in the cards. Bruce Wayne has been slowly disappearing as Batman becomes the dominant personality (if you're not in the camp that Batman IS the ONLY personality), and with the death of Rachel, his one tether to a normal life, and with Batman now branded a murderer, Bruce may turn to a love interest tailor-made for Batman...Catwoman.

DK also showed us the physical toil Bruce has put his body through as Batman. Bane may indeed "break the bat". It would be a heck of an uplifting ending to see Batman come back from such a physical defeat, and return as a hero to Gotham.

Earlier rumours were that the storyline was influenced by the Prey arc from Legends of the Dark Knight.


Which also had a sequel, Heat.


Perhaps they are taking a page from Batman Begins and amalgamating Hugo Strange/Bane/(maybe Catman?) in the same way Ducard and Ras Al Ghul were combined?

If you breakdown the two films, Bane was the only logical choice. Everything is built around identity and escalation. Riddler, Penguin, etc...don't take the dire consequences to the next level. With Bane, you have Knightfall and the fact that they're going to shoot in Detroit pretty much guarantees we're going to see some version of No Man's Land play out.

Thalia could be the second female that's been listed in casting, but Nolan would have to keep that quiet because then we're all going to expect...The Lazarus Pit!

And no offense, but Batman-on-Film is horrendous. "Fett" was wrong dozens of times between Begins and TDK, and his answer every time is he really knew, but couldn't say anything. He was the guy claiming Depp was a done deal for Joker and then Ledger's name surfaced on another site so the revisions came fast and furious. It's a great game he plays too; acts like he knows so he generates traffic and when he gets called on it, claim he couldn't betray his sources.

It's the Mego equivalent of someone here claiming they know RA Waves 5 and 6 because a Matty source told them, waits for Doc's official release, and then claims they wish they could have said something but were told not to spoil it. Cannot be proven or disproved.

I never said it was a feud. The other site was Hollywood Reporter, IIRC. Either way, there's a lot he doesn't know but consistently acts like he did after the fact. He's a PR flack without the title.

Is this what's called casting against type? I would imagine Hathaway as a Good-Girl type rather than a Femme-Fatale. I could see Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, Rachel McAdams, Carla Gugino, heck maybe even Jennifer Lopez or Amy Adams as a Catwoman. Hathaway probably has the acting chops but it's casting from out of left field to me.

That red hair just says bad girl to me. Adams would probably be cast as Barbara Gordon before being cast as Catwoman.

She seems so "wholesome" to me. I could definitely see her as Barbara Gordon.
