New Spiderman movie suit

I actually like this better than the Maguire ones. And, more specifically, (outside of the giant cranium), I like Garfield's body type in the suit better. It just looks more like a teenager in there, rather than a pumped up Maguire.

...except for Garfield's GIGANTIC head...

I'm very pleased to see the eyes are small and nothing over the top. But when I went to the actual story on Superherohype, they said they have confirmed there will be no J. Jonah Jameson in this installment....REALLY? Oooooooookay.

I don't really care about the suit or the actor's big head. The bottom line is the story. If the story sucks, it doesn't matter how good the suit or actor looks. If the story is excellent, I think most people are willing to look past costume issues and big heads.

I'm willing to give it a shot. I wish they had just given us another Spidey film with a new cast (ala the Bond films) and not totally rebooted it. But the size of the guy's head doesn't bother me. Toby Maguire has no lips, but I didn't boycott the movies over it.

I am such a huge Spidey fan that I would have watched it and given it rave reviews if the first movie had the first homemade costume (when he entered the wrestling match) with the story line exactly the same.

As a kid I would get ****ed Spidey didnt talk on the Electric Company. Now I get they were trying to teach me to read. Little slow here.

I too am sick of teh Spierman/ Superman Returns space tile pattern.

Though I am against Cgi normally I think it would be cool to try out animated eyes like in the comics when they open and close for expressions.
How does it work/ Who cares? I didnt need to see a shopping list an explination for everything in Batman Begins.

I think the original Black and red costume would be cool.
Love that Electric compant Spidey had webs, but they should be scallopped.

Hmm. I guess we should just accept that they are going to change things up. Just like every Batman movie has a different take on the suit, I guess Spider-Man will too. It still is instantly recognizable as Spidey. I would have just played with the colors a bit and altered the hues to a lighter blue or go all the way to black. Black webbing, under-arm webs. But no one asked me.
