Hec is right, Hispanic/Latino is not a race, it is an ethnicity.

But beyond that, I've been reading this thread, and here are just some points to consider:

An Actor performs a part regardless of race, or sex.

In China actors were raised and taight to perform ONE part their whole life. Men played the women parts, as no woman was allowed to act.

Shakespeare! All the parts of women were played by MEN. Any part of color or other race... still played by MEN-white ones at that.

So, black, white, who cares, as long as a talented actor plays the part?

Batman did not suck, and Billy Dee Williams played Harvey Dent. Too bad the studio backed out when it came to having him play Two Face by the third film.

Catwoman did not suck because Halley Berry was black. The movie sucked because it was a sequel too far removed from the original movie (Batman Returns) and by the time it came to be the story was a jumbled hot mess.

Daredevil did not suck because the Kingpin was black. He was the ONLY convincing character! It sucked because Ben Affleck just plain sucks.

I have to say this: I have never had to suffer racism to any extent, but I have had people from various races dismiss me instantly because of my Oklahoma accent. I'm sure a few of you have encountered that, as well....being instantly dismissed because you are from a place that someone deems "backwards".

Nothing funnier than someone who thinks they are smarter than you because they pronounce a certain word differently than you (and when asked to define that word they are at a loss and get all, "well, errrr...at least I didn't call it a "bra" when everyone knows it's a "brar".).

At college a guy I knew taught me that black and African American are not synonomous. He was described as African American while he was in the room and he blew up about how his family were native Australians. Meanwhile my cousin who is 4th generation South African was roundly screamed at by a government worker because she filled out her paperwork for college as African American and the worker said white South Africans don't count.

Things start to teeter a bit when we bring South Africa into the mix, but I believe the term that is most commonly used for white South Africans (generally descended from Dutch and other Europeans) has been "Afrikaner", their language being Dutch-related Afrikaans.

This is supposedly the movie that killed John Wayne. They shot this in Utah on the site where they conducted atomic bomb testing. A ridiculous amount of the cast and crew died of cancer. Wayne had beaten the lung cancer when stomach cancer claimed him.
