I've recently, slowly and expensively come to the conclusion that much of what i buy month in month out is garbage and have refined my comic reading list radically. I was shocked by how much stuff i'd bought over the last couple of years and not actually bothered to read but continued to buy week in week out like some crazed addict or scared I might miss something if I didn't buy....Today I went into my comic shop (thursday is new comic day over here in the U.K.) and walked out with just 3 titles....usually i'd buy at least 20 a week (including tpb's and specials). I'm certainly glad i've turned a corner in that particular expense...don't get me wrong...I still love comics and the titles I buy I still love reading...but alot of crap has fallen by the wayside.
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

I did the same thing a few years back, and haven't regretted it for one minute.

that list makes one wonder how these characters survived all this time doesn't it? I mean in the fictional sense surviving as characters people still read about.
that FF storyline looks like it was in the last 10-15 years.....maybe it was one of those whimiscal one shots they sometimes put out
