Aunt May seems to die a lot too. Same with the Kents. I've lost track of if they are still alive or not??
Fresh stories with quality and substance behind them seem to have died off a lot too these days!!"Crayons taste like purple!"Comment

Doesn't Wolverine die virtually every time before his powers kick in?
Thinking villains must hold the record though as they seemingly die/disappear every story arc.
Mind you thinking about it if 'South Park' was a comic then it would definately be Kenny.ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF ITBritish by birth....English by the grace of God.
Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

if we excluded anyone who wasn't truly dead we would exclude most of the "deaths" the reason they make us mad is because they trash previous story lines
who actually died and came back to life? the "death" is always excused somehow. the character didn't really die. they__________. the whole point of the come back thing is that they decided they could still make money from teh character and concoct some stupid explaination. sometimes it is preplanned like superman's "death"
i loved amazing spiderman 400. aunt may died. she came back. now the issue has little meaning - if any.Comment

I think the only major comic character that HASN'T died (and came back) is Dick Grayson. Of course the Earth Two Dick did, but the "main" version of Dick as Robin/Nightwing/Batman hasn't died, to my knowledge.
Of course, he was on DiDio's chopping block for Infinite Crisis, before Geoff Johns refused to kill him. And now that there are multiple Batmen, he's somewhat expendable...
But it doesn't matter to me, because for me, Dick is still Nightwing, and all of this current stuff IS the alternate universe.
