Personally, I would have taken Mark Harmon in his younger days. I guess maybe if not him, George Eads from CSI. I saw an image on http://www.heromorph.com, someone had taken George Eads and dressed him up like either Hal or Kyle in costume - I guess it was based on something Wizard magazine had done...

I'd love to see a great GL movie, but I won't hold my breath. I agree Quaid would have been a good choice in his younger days.

I actually think of todays actors someone like James Marsden would work (of course after playing cyclops in x1 & x2 and Richard White in superman returns I doubt he would be chosen)

Marsden has ridiculously sharp, high cheekbones. He'd make a perfect Neal Adams-type Hal Jordan!!!

i feel like Ed Burns (Saving Private Ryan, She's The One) has that Handsome Guy swagger that to me is very Hal Jordan.

and the guy who plays Hiro from Heroes can be Pie Face!

Good call Rob. He'd make a fine Hal.

DC would like to remind you that there was never a character by that name. Despite the old comics and current Showcase books, his name is Tom.

But you're right, he'd be perfect.

Who the heck cold play Sinestro?

There's a porn star named "Dirty Harry" or "Uncle Harry" who has the look down perfect---
ahem---anyways---though---as far as mainstream actors that I know...is
                  ALAN RICKMAN too old???

                          Pieface

Yeah, that whole role for Pieface is probably going to have to be rethought or retooled. Maybe he could still be the Mr. Fixit, but not in a subserviant or demeaning role. Or maybe he'll be a fellow pilot. The whole Kato thing probably won't fly.
