What I've noticed about all of these possible candidates, is they each carry that stereotype 'pretty boy' look. I hope the casting is based a little more on acting chops and less on just looking like a mindless 'boy toy' with tights on. Audiences will see through that quickly if they don't give the character some depth this time. We need a serious interpretation. Someone who can travel the universe should have a better understanding of how to use their social skills on earth instead of walking around with this "Oh I'm a pretty boy in tights, but don't get it" mentality. He should be seasoned and considerably hardened from his own experiences. If anything he should have a much better grasp of life and what is valued over a common earthling.

Here's the pic you mentioned. I actually think you see more of Superman/Clark in the other picture. You can actually see a humanity that is necessary to pull off Supes.
