I think she was just startled (touching the afflicted bite was reactionary)

Wouldn't it be more likely these guys were listing to country music ?
Oh - so now we have to stereotype hicks?
    3. That MARLBORO truck in the fight scene was WAY overused.
I mean, c'mon, this was the opposite of SUBTLE movie advertising
Marlboro put enough money into the movie that the salkinds allowed Lois to be a smoker
    4. Why did Perry get knocked out by hitting his head on a drop ceiling ?
Hitting your head on a drop ceiling is like hitting your head on paper
He went inches above the tile - some drop ceilings have as little as 2 inches clearance befor he would have hit something hard

    5. The scene where Clark goes back--- (after he gets his powers back) --- and beats up the tough guy always bugs me.....
Superman would just not do that.
I could see him going back - but not to beat the guy up. Certainly not to destroy the place becasue he doesn't have money to throw at the owners to repair it.

    6. When the kid was in freefall falling into the Horseshoe Falls.... His drop seemed awfully long.... I've been there many times and it's not that tall ..... He should have hit the bottom before Clark even noticed.
I could uderstand him not bottoming out first (though I agree even that is a stretch but Supes would have need to do one of those faster than the eye can see move straight to the kid wth no hesitation. The timing is definitely off here.

    7. Since ZOD was the real bad guy, he was the only nasty Supes actually killed....
was he truly killed? we don't actually see him die.

All that said...Plenty of things bother me about these films now.
My childhood memories of them are far better than what the films actually are.

The movie is a goofy romp, but as cheesy as it is, I still love it! My wife and I quote from it all the time: /lois lane/God, not only have I lost my mind, I've lost my [insert misplaced object here]!/lois lane/

All of the peeves mentioned so far are ones that have rankled me even since I was a kid. Except that I will say it makes sense for Supes to go back and teach the bully truck driver a lesson; that Zod et al. may have fallen into some kind of Fortress of Solitude super-prison; and that the baby Kal-El's Kryptonian swaddling clothes were indeed the colors of his later super-suit, underlining his persona as a 'Son of Krypton'.
