for Zod I would prefer a more grizzled looking actor (more in keeping with the idea he was an older warrior general) say someone about 45-55 years old. I would actually prefer an american accent (even if it's a brit actor) just to differentiate the performance from Terrence Stamps

My vote goes for Alan Rickman. The kids will know him from the Harry Potter movies,so that'll pull them in. We know he can do this type of role from what he did with Die Hard.

Yeah Welling is a pretender to the crown.....He can't shine Reeves boots. That movie will tank with that wuss as the man of steel.....

When Chris and George Reeves walked into a room as Superman they command attention they blow you away........Welling doesn't command that attention there is NO Mystique to him at all.........

I like Joe Manganiello from true blood the man has the right look to play SuperMAN

But i hear they want a younger guy to play Superman.
