Why was Robin slighted in the beginning of the Super Friends?

yeah,as a kid that always got me mad,robin was cool. marvin ,i hated marvin,wasnt he killed off by the wonder twins,either way ,glade to see him go,

Funny thing is in my mind I can hear the Superfriends announcer saying "Batman & Robin". I guess it's probably not from the title intro if everyone else agrees he's not mentioned.
I don't own any DVDs of the show.

In the Super Friends comics, based on the show, Wendy was the daughter of Harvey Harris, the detective who helped train Batman. She referred to Batman as her uncle.

Marvin was the son of the ORIGINAL Diana Prince that Wonder Woman took her man's world identity from.

I know, I know. E. Nelson Bridwell was comic's first nerd-made-good.

Yeah, what was that about? I read a few issues of Teen Titans featuring Wendy and Marvin, but had cancelled it by the time this happened.

Not sure, I dropped out of Titans when Geoff Johns left, but there was great rage across the internets when they did this to the Wonder Twins as shock fodder so soon after introducing them into the DCU proper.
