I'd like Lex to come back, but it looks like they have the perfect setup to recast if he doesn't. The glimpses we've been given show that Lex's face/head has been heavily scarred.

So they can pull that old Plastic Surgery soap opera nugget out for a recast.

I'm pretty much done with Lana. I like Lois much better as the love interest. They just seem to have much more chemistry.

The S is definately the 3D, raised S of Routh's costume. Since no sequels to Superman Returns will happen they probably handed over the movie costume to Smallville for alteration.

As for Michael Rosebaum, check IMDB for his latest projects-no listings for Smallville but that doesn't mean he can't come in for Sweeps:

Nah, they can slick his hair back. They have to enable Clark to appear different from Supes. Different hairstyles would enable that.

As much as I have complained about this show, I still love it. I guess the complaining comes from feeling invested in it.

I can't wait to see how this all turns out.

I own the first 7 Seasons on DVD and when Best Buy has their annual "$9.99" per season Thanksgiving sale, I'll pick up 8 and 9.

It's been an absolute joy to share this with my Sister and Niece. We've all watched the show on TV or DVD over the last few years and had many discussions about the Superman Mythos. Say what you want about the show, but it made two little blonde chics ask me endless questions about Superman and I have been happy to set the record straight when needed.

I think 8 and 9 (which just came out last week) are on Blu-Ray. I don't think they've back-tracked beyond those yet.
