Hobgoblin's new costume (and Spiderman's too)

I like the design of the outfit, just not the fact that it glows. Doesn't really matter, though.

You KNOW he'll be back in the red and blue, just like he was with the Black suit, and the Iron Spider Suit. Not worth being upset over. Even if it were going to be his 'permanent' look, as soon as the writer leaves, the next writer will change him back.

I like the that Peter's genius will be explored. It's a cool idea and a long time coming. Hope there's some good stories come out of it.

As for the image. I don't like it, but it's not aimed at me and I don't feel like hiking my pants up to my neck and yelling at the neighbor's kids.

I can barely accept that Hobgoblin, but that new Spiderman costume blows.
In stead of the glow in the dark emblem he might as well stick a bulls eye on his chest

Isn't Peter Parker still dirt poor? How does he pay for this stuff?

This will all be forgotten in a month or two, but yeah, it seems the "real" Spidey is gone. Folks up through the early 90s did a good job of keeping the heart of Spidey the same, the Lee/Ditko/Romita feel was still there. I feel that way about almost all the Marvel titles. I think there was a conscious effort by folks in charge to follow the Lee/Kirby/Ditko model, but since the early 90s, it's went by the wayside.

I've been reading Spidey (on and off) almost all of my life but stopped with the BND crap. Now we have a dayglo Spiderman. I'm quite certain this will not last but the fact they are doing this in the first place is galling. Plus I'm kind of worn out by the entire gobin business.
