Am I the only who feels the Spidey I grew up with is completely gone? I mean his past completely erased; all of these characters once dead are alive again; new costumes, *sigh*... I just don't know who this character is anymore.

It's his new High Tech Costume. The storyline is based on the premise that Peter finally decides to embrace his genius and add more innovations (like his web shooters) based on his own inventions.
Not sure how they are going to differentiate this high tech suit from the Iron Spider suit other than colour scheme. Just seems like a glow in the dark version of his Secret Wars Black Costume doesn't it?
As much as I like Humberto Romas' stuff for some things like Impulse and Runaways, I think his Hobgoblin design is too similar to his Green Goblin redesign (which I kinda liked with the medieval hat).
I tried my best to give Brand New Day a whirl since I'm a big fan of all things Spider-man, but these days I'm sticking to just Ultimate Spider-man.Last edited by samurainoir; Jul 30, '10, 8:52 PM.Comment

I share your pain, son. I've felt that way about most of Marvel's and DC's characters for awhile now.
