Yeah Hec, nothing personal. You have a right to HATE Smallville, but I'd personally appreciate it if folks didn't take a proverbial dump in every thread that came up about it.

I didn't care for what DC was doing to it's characters with Blackest Night. I made my feelings clear, and then kept them to myself.

I've never really watched Dr. Who, but I don't rain on the parade of others who like it.

Subconsciously, I think I get touchy about it because it reminds me of being picked on for reading comics when I was in middle school. It's not the "cool" thing to do because the consensus of some in the room is that it sucks. I think it touches a nerve.
