It would be odd, since DC ruined a good thing by essentially nuking Bludhaven. Man, Nightwing's world went to pot when Chuck Dixon left DC.

As long as they didn't make Batman a dead-beat dad like the BOP series did, it may work though.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever read a story with Bludhaven in it, but I always thought it was a lame comic book idea to name a town something as revolting and unmarketable to normal people. As in, "Oh, I want to move to Bludhaven because I heard the schools are wonderful there!" "Bludhaven is a great place to raise children!" It's just ridiculous.

Oddville is a little quirky and kind of funny. Bludhaven is sinister, like a town full of serial killers.

This is just a fan-pic. I *think* I recall the pitch you are thinking of... it had a young Dick Grayson in the Circus? It was around that time when they were pitching everything as a kind of Smallville replacement/spinoff. BoP, Mercy Reef/Aquaman, Starman etc.

Yes there was a Grayson's series pitched and CW walked away from it. Sounds like it would be just like this , only an older Dicky Grayson. IT WOULD PROBABLY BE A LOT LIKE BIRDS OF PREY as has already been mentioned. Okay lets look at the shows propsed.

So far not a great track record for DC Comics CW shows. I would love to see more to carry on after Smallville next season. I hope they do have something in the works. What about a show based on Shazam ! A teenage Billy Batson , Seems the film is in production Hell so why not a show instead ?

I get so passionately angry at Smallville that I don't want them to get their hands on Nightwing. If I swear like a sailor over Superman, I'd probably have a stroke if they messed with my favorite character in all of comics.
