Sure, you can always recast, but I liked Norton in "Incredible Hulk" -- I thought he brought a solid take in the comics version of Banner and blnded in a Bill Bixby vibe that combined the best of the comics with the TV series take on the character.

That, and it would have been nice of continuity's sake if he'd reprise the role -- plus, I was looking forward to seeing Norton interact with Downey and Jackson. He'd have been able to hold his own with that kind of power on screen.

Yeah, that's what I'll miss. Chris Evans has screen presence as well. He walked away with the FF movies. But Norton, Downey and Jackson in one room with rapid fire dialog was a big plus for this movie.

That being said, the sheer coolness of seeing Iron Man, Cap and Thor on screen together will more than make up for any nits, at least for the first viewing.

Like many people, I thought a young Cusack would make a perfect Peter Parker. He'd work as Banner too now.

Bana is a good actor, but Marvel should act as if the Ang Lee travesty was never filmed. Besides the desert scene, it sucks more than all suckage in the universe.

He just doesn't come off as Smart enough ...

Ohhh ..., for about the last yr in the Hulk Books, You really scene it, when He wasn't the Hulk anymore, and He pretty much out-Smarted The 3 you named, at Various times. It's changing into the Hulk, and always on the Run, why it isn't shown as much.

In the most recent issues of Hulk, they don't rank them but he is amongst the 8 smartest. So are Black Panther and Hank Pym. I'm not sure how the members of the Intellegencia rank in there since it was the Leader and co's plot to begin with.

Although, just like in the real world, I think it's near impossible to rank who's the smartest man in the world. Even IQ can only take you so far. I'm sure those that are even in contention can't agree on the proper emperical criteria to judge "smart".

Plus you've now got characters like Valeria Richards who is supposed to be smarter than Reed, and her other super-genius classmates in the pages of FF.

Amadaes Cho who's intelligence they keep billing as his superpower.

The latest rumours are of David Tennant, Adrian Brody or Nathan Fillion taking the role of Banner. I think Tennant would make a great Banner.
