My vote is for the Tori Black Wonder Woman Porn, at least she will be wearing the correct uniform. Maybe the title should be turned over to the writter of that movie.

P.S. It's about timeWonder Woman got popped, it has even recently been implied she was a Virgin, all the heroes are having sex, why not her, she is a woman with meeds and desires. have her meet some one and have sex in the comics as well.

Comic companies just do not get it, we dont want characters replaced with new ones, nor do we want uniform changes, we want a good story, backed up by good art, heck sometimes, decent to bad art will be accepted as long as has good writter with a goos story. Comic companies have lost touch with what the coustomers want. SAD,DC, REAL, SAD TO PICK AND EVENT LIKE THIS TO RUIN IT WITH MORE CRAP.

I'm just wondering why putting her in LONG PANTS makes her less akin to a greek goddess than Star Spangled Booty Shorts? You don't see the disconnect in that remark?

As for the spanking... 80 year old concepts are REVAMPED for a reason when it comes to contemporary audiences! Even if it deviates from the creators intentions.

I think everyone needs to chill out until the story actually plays out. As it is, you don't think DC isn't banking on this reaction on the net to help publicize JMS' run? I'm betting DC Entertainment's marketing dept. is hoping that mainstream media will be picking up on the fan brouhaha on the 'net. Viral marketing 101 these days.

If this was an in-and-out 12-issue arc in Wonder Woman's own title, it might not be that big of a deal (crappy costume not withstanding)....

But by leaving it open-ended (at this point) and having it muck up other characters continuity and titles (like Donna Troy/JLA, Cassie Sandsmark/Titans) it quickly becomes a mess before anyone has even read the first issue IMO.

It just seems like after finally correcting one of the major missteps of the George Perez reboot (making Diana a "new" hero, as opposed to Superman and Batman, and taking her out of the equation as far as the founding of the JLA) in the aftermath of Infinite Crisis a few years ago (where her founding status was restored)....we are now taking 3 steps back....making her the age of 19 and a newbie as far as heroes go. Which will effect JLA history again (and the Titans by proxy) if they care to address it (I hope Black Canary is interested in stepping in to the "founding female" role once again...but she may be booked up with the Birds of Prey )

My crystal ball forsees JMS making a mess of both Superman and Wonder Woman...Fans will become quickly disappointed and DC will push JMS to change his story plans...He will balk and leave the book....leaving it up to another writer to dig the character out of the hole he has dug.

He should have just stuck to Brave and the Bold (which was actually quite good...and since his hands weren't tied by continuity it didn't muck anything up) or the Archie Red Circle stuff (which I wasn't interested in so I really don't care what he did with those characters).

Or at the very least, freakin' finish off "The Twelve" over at Marvel What's up with THAT JMS?

What about Donna and Cassie? so their origins get changed too? maybe this explains why Donna is in the League for now

This proves that DC is a rudderless ship now. I mean, didn't they just reboot Wonder Woman like 3 years ago?

I am so glad I really don't care anymore. I still love the characters, but I have almost no faith in the folks working on the mainstream DCU titles anymore.

Bad idea. Her original look is iconic. Classic. It should not be messed with. This just seems like change for change's sake.

I always liked when they borderline portray WW as a savage Amazon warrior... and if you're "that" it's perfectly reasonable to have a skimpy little suit to fight in... heck she could be nekkid...in theory.

"Street clothes" ....hey that seems like a baaaaaad idea.

They're bringing back the Spider-Clones storyline too. I think they have tweaked it to remove the mistakes they made the first time? That's what you forgot.

THIs never happens, but I'm at a loss for words at how stupid this is. It just seems inconceivable that anyone at DC who actually still cares about the industry and it's heritage can be okay with an idea this lame. This really brings home how many stupid changes I've been witness to over the years as a comic geek. Most of the changes are fairly recent.

Superman was killed and "ressurected" as four separate losers

Batman is dead/lost in time with Grayson taking the role for now

Steve Rogers is running around in a Shield jumpsuit instead of wielding a shield!

Aquaman became a hook-handed and then water-handed assbag and was then replaced with a lookalike ******bag with the same name and was then killed in an issue nobody remembers because it was one tiny panel and it was ambiguous at best

THe cool Cockrum X-Men designs were trashed in favor of leather duds

Lex Luthor was a mad scientist and then a billionaire egomaniacal criminal and then a combination of both

Hal Jordan was turned into a mass murderer

That's all I can think of at the moment.

The only image you really need to sum up the DCU and it's representatives, the big three is the cover of the Infinite Crisis TPB. Guess who's front and center? I was never going to pick up the WW book anyway, but this debacle is indicative of the need for editorial change.

    Total absurdity.
