IMO the best Cartoon that came out of the 80's. Don't know if the Original is on DVD. hopefully it'll be good. Looking forward to it.

Yes, it's on DVD. I plan on getting it for my birthday.
I LOVED this cartoon when it was first run. The animation was great, the characterization was top notch, and I loved/hated the main villain, Mumm-Ra.
There was a lot of backstory that was never covered, like how Third Earth became the way that it was; how the Wolos, and other races evolved over time and from what species.
I especially liked Willa and the Women of the Forest. They were better Amazons than the ones in the DC universe!JediJaidaComment

I own season 1 of the orignal. Its pretty to look at but I found the stories made it unwatchable. It was best left to childhood memories I think. I still have a fondness for them and I really look forward to a new series.Comment
