Wow! I truly am clueless. I watch weekly. I need to rewatch season six. I don't remember the departing of Martha. I did notice she wasn't in the season premiere but I didn't notice she wasn't in the credits.

I liked Ma and Pa and the casting choices. -Why can't lana go overseas and we NOT observe er?

Ma Kent didn't even get a good send off. They killed off a US Senator to Kansas that was in cahoots with Lex's top secret program, so Martha took his spot as Senator. She just kind of said "bye" and was gone. Totall threw her out.

I think eventually, every WB/CW show disposes of the old folks. First they relegate them to the back burner, then they kill them or send them away. Buffy, Dawson's Creek (I didn't watch it, but I know they killed off John Wesley Shippp), Everwood (Treat Williams got pushed to the background), and Smallville.

Not their best season premiere for sure, but I have high hopes for them continuing to honor the DC Universe while creating their own mythos. I'm still a huge fan, despite Lana.

I sure wish Lana was really killed off. Her whinneyness gets on my nerves. To me, Lois as also too butch. Chloe is the female centerpiece for me.

Last night's episode was much better. Great tie-ins to Superman lore, with some new twists. The super-throwdown was well handled. I think its refreshing that Kara isn't instantly "human" like most versions of the Supergirl character. She's also not a totally emotionless alien, which is the other extreme cliche. She's somewhere in the middle with room to grow. Good move.

Even Lana didn't bother me last night. They may actually do some interesting things with her, since she's been "tainted" by Lex. If she must be on the show, the least they can do is make her interesting for a change.

                  Are these online?

                  edit:
I downloaded Kara. I liked it. I noticed Supergirl's name is in the opening credits and Lana is not. That is good!!!!!!
