    Egad, here we go again.

Please see my posts in the Batman vs. Superman Rogues thread for a thoughtful defense of the Penguin.

I like the "lame" foes: Cavalier, Catman, Killer Moth, Egghead, Tut.

To me, a classic, well-handled Killer Moth should be the "Bizarro" Batman.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I like Baby Doll, especially when she ended up teamed up with Croc either on the show or in the comics, don't remember which.

I think sometimes the "lamer" the better.....I LOVE Killer Moth, Calendar Man, Kite-Man, Zodiac Master, Spellbinder, Polka Dot Man, Zebra Man, The Eraser, etc. Always geek out when they cameo on Batman:The Brave and the Bold.

Okay, for me the best villain was the Riddler.

He actually used his noggin to come up with stuff that you had to really think about in order to solve.

Lamest villain: the character that Liberace played on the show. He was absolutely lame!

The one with the most potential: the Bookworm. Just as brilliant as the Riddler, and just as vicious. It was a real pity that he only had one episode on the TV series, and was never used in the comic. Besides, I loved Roddy McDowell's portrayal of him.

^Yep, Egghead & Bookworn get my top votes for best original series foes.

'Though, I like Minstrel as well...

I like the lame villains, too. The Brave and Bold cartoon does its best work with the characters or the aspects of the characters that are too out-dated for today's comic-book reader's sensibilities.

And to me the Batman TV show is of its own breed. I loved as a kid. Really, it was my introduction to all the characters, but as I grew into my older teens and early 20s, I wrote it off, because I thought the only Batman was the grim and gritty Batman.

But as I've grown older there's a place in my head or heart for all versions of Batman that are well written. And the TV show is a classic. Really wish it would come out on Blu-Ray.
