JSA All-stars has a mini series feel to it

Well, the JSA All-Stars book is pretty much a craphole, I can't imagine it will be around too much longer. Maybe Jade's return will herald a revival of Infinity Inc. as a JSA spin-off with Obsidian, Power Girl, Jade, Atom Smasher, Stargirl?

^ Heck, I'd rather see JLA Detriot again than that line-up.....

Its right from the horse's mouth, so it is the case. I don't get why DC can't get the original 7 back in there. Seems like Robinson just plugged them in to fit those slots
    Batman
    WW-Donna Troy
    Superman-Supergirl
    Flash-Jesse Quick
    GL- Jade
    Jonn-Starman
Aquaman- Congorilla, instead of from the ocean, he's from the jungle.

yeah, that JLA lineup leaves me colder than another Duke national title.

I like a lot of those characters, but it just doesn't say JLA to me. I guess it will be two years before Lee and Johns get around to their JLA run.

But there is Brightest Day and the JLI book.

Never have cared for Jade. Hope Alan Scott doesn't die to make room for her in the DCU.

I do like Congorilla and Starman, though.

If that is indeed the case, then the "JLA" is dead to me....

Seriously, though, the only good thing from Robinson I've read since his return to DC was the recent Blackest Night Starman #81...even though the relationship between the Shade and Hope O'Dare was a little out of left field....it still read like a "Starman" story.

Everything else....from Superman to Cry for Justice to this new JLA has been hack city...very sad, considering Robinson was once one of the few people who could take old DC history and characters and breathe new life in to them...much like his former co-writer Geoff Johns does now. Somewhere along the way, Robinson has lost his way and doesn't seem like he can recapture the glory his writing once had.

I'd think you were kidding if I didn't know you. One more DC title on my 'still not buying that crap' list.

Nevermind, here's the JLA lineup for thenext 2 years right from James "I used to be a good writer" Robinson's mouth. Yeesh. The new lineup, he revealed, will be Dick Grayson as Batman, Supergirl, Donna Troy, Jade, Mikaal Tomas as Starman, Congorilla and Jessie Quick. Does kind of confirm that Dick will still be in the Batsuit, tho.

That was a hugely underrated series! Back at a time when DC wasn't as afraid to try out innovative new concepts.

I would hope there's some tweaking before then....really don't want to see Hawk, Jade, and the Shazam kid on the team. Deadman might be interesting depending on what they do with the character.

And hey, with all that raising the dead stuff, you would think that Kid Eternity would have been a factor somewhere...not to mention a truly underated character that needs brought back, The Resurrection Man (a totally great series you should look for if you haven't read it).
