... Respectfully ..., Yes it does, with the Base of your Debate, Because that was Superman's Suit on the Toon 10 years ago, which they seem to be picking up from Ideas of the Cartoon ..., and they are not really channeling anything from Blackest Night at All with the Suit . You Could argue Colors..., But Red is Not In a Black Lantern Costume. ... Outside of White & Black, and it being Superman, there is seriously No relation to the Costumes. That's why it Kinda Matter's .

BTW .., this is also a Toon set in the Future.

If anything ..., it could be Justice Lords inspired ..., But I think The Justice Lord Suit, was Inspired by the Batman Beyond Superman Suit instead.

      Batman Beyond....10 Years Ago.

      Justice Lords...7 Years Ago.

      Zombie Kal.....well, ....now.

Future, past...it doesn't matter. My initial thought, based on current DC continuity is Zombie Kal.

That is initial....and I am a guy who gets that is not Zombie Kal. However, how many won't?

I'm not saying that is Zombie Kal or Justce Lord Supes, just that now is not the time to put that out as a "hero" costume.

As far as red being a color in Supe's Costume...I think the first segment of the inside of Batman's cape is Red, but on the left side of the figures it appears to be Red Suoerman trunks. That is an illuision. It's not meant to be Red trunks on Supes...I don't care who you are.

Clearly, his suit is Black and White...no inclusion of Red.

I just don't see the Relationships to the 2 costumes... that's all, from your Evaluation , compairisons on the subject.

I'm just saying....it ain't an exact match, but what image is evoked when we are smack dab in the midst of Blackest Night?

My statement is only relative to the fact that we are in the middle of a big event and what are people going to equate that uniform to when all of this is going on? Something 10 years ago? 7 years ago? ....or the relevant issue that is being trumpeted as "the event of the moment".

            I dunno Man ...,
People Just like Superman in Black and White.
Perhaps it was Just a design that stuck....
It's Batman Beyonds Comic ..., I would suppose, like the Toon Superman is Supporting cast. ..., He's Not from Earth2 either.

So was Batman's Blackest Night Costume ,.. also a Rip-off of the Red Rain Jones Batman ? ,.... So if Red Rain 3 Came out in June ..., would that lead to confusion with some, thinking It's a story about a Black Lantern Batman ?

It is just impossible for my Mind to see a relationship with the 2 suits..., outside of the colors...., so I don't treat them in the direction you do.

              >I'm just saying....it ain't an exact match

Say.... aren't they both pretty close to a Kryptonian costume from the early 80's? The black with shoulder thingies looks kinda familiar.
