Big fan of this one. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this movie. Campbell looks EXACTLY like Dave Stevens character, and does a great job. Arkin, Dalton and Connely are great too. And man, was she gorgeous back then. Still pretty now, but I liked her when she had some meat on her.

I watched it with my son a while back and he really liked it. It deserved to be a big success.

      Hmmmm....

It's not bad. I was a BIG fan of the comic, and the film was a decent go of it. I think had it come out a few years later, during the late 90's steampunk wave, it would have done better.

Big fan. Loved the comic, and was glad to see the film stayed as close as it possibly could, substituting Hughes for Doc Savage, and so forth.

I miss Beemans gum too. It was revived due to the film, but didnt last very long...at least in Canada.

It was a great film, I watched it on TV not long ago. Holds up well. Dunno why it didn't do well, I think it came on the heels of the Dick Tracy stinker from Disney.
I was always disappointed they didn't do real action figures from it. I have the trading card set, couple odds & ends...they still show up pretty cheap. We still have a Rocketeer beach towel that the kids use from time to time!

I have never seen the movie, would like to.

This is one of the gifts I brought over for my girlfriend. Not an action figure but...thought you might like to see it. (Unfortunately the seller sent it to me in a paper envelope and the bubble cracked, sigh.)

I should see it sometime----I really like his "taste" in putting together a movie.

Great pedigree working on the classics too.

Loved the movie. Not sure why it gets such a bad rep though. They even harpooned it on Family Guy once. I wish I could afford the 12" figure Medicom released recently.

Totally agree on both counts. I found Jennifer staggeringly hot during that time period.

Absolutely A favorite of mine love The Comic and Film and Got to meet Dave years ago Great Guy. I was disappointed when Action figures were not made at the time. Also the Dvd didn't have any extras which was disappointing.

This movie is the reason I think Captain America is in good hands, the guy gets the period.
