    Hugo Weaving
Topless Robot - The Captain America Movie Gets One Role Right

    Dammit, that's good casting.

I'm starting to think that Matt Damon should play Cap. He looks very comfortable playing soldiers and looked great in Invictus. His height works well with the other Avengers (Damon is 5'10". RDjr. is listed @ 5'9". Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is 6" 3") and, most importantly, he's a very good actor.

Oh, that's a pretty cool choice.

Damn. That IS good casting. The world's most evil bellhop is in good hands.

You know Cap casting is coming soon. Or it may already be done, just not revealed.

I don't envy them. Pulling off Cap and not coming off like a cartoon is no small feat. It's like playing Superman. That paragon of virtue bit is hard to pull off.

I agree. Portraying Cap won't be easy. If this addresses the origin and takes place in WWII we have a simpler, less tortured Cap here. Not the one who was in the Avengers who blamed himself for Bucky's death. I think he has to be part Indiana Jones and part Alex Ross version from Marvels. He must be seen to take his job seriously, he must be determined to suceed, and he must be willing to get his hands dirty. He can't stand around and pose like Supes. The costume should remain intact but maybe explained as necessary to inspire morale amongst the troops and cut down the morale of the enemy, the Ratzi's, and I can't wait until they bring that word back!

That's GREAT casting! Wearing that Mask...you need an Actor with a strong voice to pull it off(think V for Vendetta).

And I'm totally starting to think Matt Damon would make a great Cap.

I think Jim from the Office is still the lead guy in the running for Cap.

I kinda see it from the honest wide eyed Steve Rogers point of view. He's gonna have to hit the gym for the post secret formula stage, tho.
