Excellent casting!
Rumors are that they don't want a seasoned roided out Caps...but a young and lean guy...kinda with a surfer's body...especially because Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is tall (6' 3")...but not roided out.
These two actors reportedly have auditioned for the part of Captain America:
Ryan McPartlin (6' 3"...might be a tad too tall)...
...and...
Chad Michael Murray (6 foot even)...
Sorry for the shirtless shots...but I think it's kinda important to picture them in a Caps uniform.

Chad Michael Murray was in that god-awful WB Lone Ranger TV movie. I'm not sure we can hold that against him, but...
Jim from the Office? I think that's a Michael Keaton kind of angle. And while Keaton worked it as well as he could, in hindsight, he still didn't work. I hope they reconsider.

I like the rumors about Ryan McPartlin in that role. He plays Captain Awesome on "Chuck". He's done some other sutff, including a memorable role on "Mad Men". I think he looks the part (moreso from the show than from Hector's beefcake shotsExcellent casting!

Oh and just to clarify my earlier comment... I was not advocating the use of CGI. It's just the only way I could imagine Krazinkzi not looking ridiculous in the role. He didn't even look big enough to play old timey football in that movie he did with Clooney.Comment

You just can't have the same actor playing two different superheroes in the same Marvel universe...that's not gonna happen...and it shouldn't happen.
Halle Berry was the only one, but she was Storm in the Marvel universe...and Catwoman in the DC universe...which was pretty awful anyway.sigpicComment
