My delivery estimate date says April 2, 2010! But at least I got some orders in! Makes sense that it would take longer for Canadian orders.
I'm already kicking myself that I didn't order a few extras for gifts, but at the time I thought I was wasting time and they were going to cancel.
I got:
- Amazing Fantasy Omnibus
- Incredible Hulk Omnibus
- EC Archives: Weird Science vol 2 & 3, Tales from the Crypt #2 and Frontline Combat
Anyone have an extra Tales from the Crypt vol. 1 for sale by the way? I can't find one around - and it's actual value is no where close to what people are trying to get for it right now.Comment

MAD's Greatest Artists: The Completely MAD Don Martin for $22.48 is still available online at Barns and Noble, it might be my favorite volume of collected comics EVER! Was originally $150, now usually sells for around $50. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Well, update #1...Amazon changed my second order. I ordered 2, and got a confirmation that I ordered 2, of the Alex Ross Variant cover Hulk Omnibus...when I went to view the details of my order it says I ordered one...They also changed my shipping date of the 9 other Omnibus' that I ordered from the end of March to April 5 - April 20. Total BS."When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
The beauty that surrounds them
Isn't it a pity".

Gotta Run, but got this at 4:43 this morning:
Hello,
Our records indicate you recently ordered 'The Incredible Hulk Omnibus, Vol. 1 (Alex Ross Variant Cover) (v. 1)
Fantastic Four Omnibus, Vol. 1 (v. 1)
The Incredible Hulk Omnibus, Vol. 1 (v. 1)
The X-Men Omnibus, Vol. 1
Iron Man Omnibus, Vol. 1'. Unfortunately, due to a pricing error, we sold many more than expected. In fact, we completely sold out — we don't have any in stock right now, and we're not even sure if we'll be able to get more.
As a result, we've had to cancel your order. I realize this is disappointing news, and I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
You may want to check our website from time to time to see if this item is available. If anyone is selling it, you'll see a "More Buying Choices" box on the product detail page; if it's not available from any sellers, you might see an "Order it used" or "Alert me" link. "Order it used" allows you to place a pre-order for the item in case another seller lists the item for sale later. "Alert me" allows you to sign up so we can e-mail you when Amazon has stock available for purchase.
I'm sorry I don't have better news. We hope to see you again soon.
Shoulda did next day delivery!!!Everyone is Entitled to MY Opinion...Your's, not so much!Comment

I got the same notice. I don't mind too much that they canceled because of the pricing error, but I'm not thrilled with Amazon lying and saying "we're not sure we can get more" when they still have the books listed for sale on their site.Comment

My order vanished as well this afternoon...no e-mail from Amazon about it. Guess they figure they don't owe anybody a courtesy. Not that I really expected to see the books sent out anyway... would have been quite a score though!Comment
