The Cathy Lee Crosby "Wonder Woman" movie

I just finished watching this on YouTube, and it's just as bad (if not worse) than I remember it. Has anyone else seen this abomination and if so, what did you think of it?

I haven't seen it in a long time (since the 70's). I remember that I liked it as a kid. I bet if I watch it on YouTube now, that opinion might change
    It's all good!

I kinda liked it. I recorded it from the sci fi channel so I am sure the quality was better than youtube quality.

It came at a period when wonder woman in the comics was in a weird phase - the "costume" in the show was more of a costume than the comics. Other than a Nazi could there have been a better bad guy. She fought a bad girl (Artemis like). It had lots of problems but is a necessary (albeit bad) part of WW history.

Nothing but a footnote on the Wonder Woman franchise.

Cathy Lee Crosby was no Lynda Carter.

Are we talking about the same movie? This one had no Nazis or WW2 anything. Steve Trevor (poor imitation) actually knew about her identity, and the bad guy was Ricardo Montalban.

I remember absolutely hating it as a child. It's really as bad as it's rumored to be. Makes the Roger Corman FF seem almost watchable in comparison.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I had a great fondness for the "other Wonder Woman" as a kid. I think I reconciled her in my mind as being Wonder Woman's other sister given the fact that I saw it as a rerun by the time I was familiar with the Linda Carter series. As far as I was concerned at that age, the more superheroes the better.

Probably will never go back and watch it just to keep those fond memories intact.

I remember watching it as a child and was shocked that they tried to pass the character off as being Wonder Woman. I think it was the hair color..

As mentioned by some here, us 'older folk' can remember that this wasn't a popular time for superheroes on TV, so the 'flashy outfit' she did wear was considered 'stylish' without going overboard into, dare I say, CAMPY..!!

Yes, it was disappointing to watch, which is also why you didn't see any superheroes on primetime at those years. They simply did not work. No studios were doing any live-action superheroes, just animation on Saturday mornings. The '60s camp of Batman was still too vivid in network minds.

Didn't she have the hots for Evel Knievel at one time? I certainly had that impression.

I recall watching it when it ran on TV and hating it because it wasn't the "real" comic book Wonder Woman...I've seen it once again in recent years and my opinion hasn't changed.

Thinking that Cathy Lee was a good choice as Wonder Woman? That's Incredible!
