Cathy Lee always struck me as someone who did some "under the table" negotiating to get her projects passed. Because most of the stuff she was in never looked like projects anyone in their right mind would have selected her for...even for the 70's.

Negotiations of the 'Casting couch' persuasion....? Hmmm.

I saw it in the late 80s on a Saturday TV matinee. It's almost as if the folks behind the bad Marvel TV movies of the 70s made this. Hell, even those were better.

Between that and the mini-pilot Dozier made in the 60s, it's a miracle WW ever got off the ground with the perfectly cast Lynda Carter.

            >Didn't she have the hots for Evel Knievel at one time? I certainly had that impression.

It’s the outfit.... looks like a weird Knievel version of one of them Plaid Stallions pics.

            >most of the stuff she was in never looked like projects anyone in their right mind would have selected her for

Yeah, but she was a name and, much like today; that’s all it takes.

            >I still think Mego's Invisible Girl was based on her

I never noticed, but now that you mention it....

However, I did think that the lasso was pretty paractical in the belt, and the bracelet as a grappling hook was novel, but again, NOT WONDER WOMAN. Seriously, they could have invented a whole new heroine for her, maybe even someone else from Paradise Island, and it might have worked. But the acting was weak, the plot had more holes than swiss cheese. It was as though it was written by a 12 year old. I'm just grateful that I only saw it on the 4:30 Movie and not in the theatre back then. I would have demanded my money back!

It's either her or Merideth Baxter Birney.

And I still say Mego Supergirl looks like Heather Locklear.

Locklear didn't show up until about 1980 on TJ Hooker and Dynasty. it couldn't have been her.

didn't some other thread prove Invisible girl was angie dickinson?

                        ^Weird! I agree...

Was the Crosby version release theatrically? I always thought it was the pilot for an aborted series, later reinvented for Carter.

This movie was like the Earth-T version of Wonder Woman ("T" for terrible).....It's seems like they were trying to do the powerless Diana Prince mod version but with powers and a costume, if that makes sense.

This Wonder Woman DID finally make a cameo comic appearance in Infinite Crisis along with the Debra Winger version of Wonder Girl (Drusilla)

I know guys, I know. I know she wasn't based on her, but she LOOKS like her.

I still have yet to see that 60s mini-pilot with the scrawny Wonder Woman who looks in the mirror and sees Nova from POTA as WW.
