SCORE!!!!
I really need to get a copy of that issue.
MAde me think.
As for Asian Spiderman with a car and Giant robot, I'd rather see that than a teeny bopper romance film.
I know theres a Mexiacn film with Spidrman as teh Badguy with Captain Ameica and famous masked wrestler as the good guys but I didnt buy the bootleg at the convention.
There HAS to have been a Spider man Balliwood movie, After teh singing musical Superman Come on!!Leave a comment:

I'm all for a geek...but please...for the love of God almighty...just not that geek...I'll drink to that. Sláinte!
Anywho, samurainoir's pic:
That ain't bad! Parker's supposed to be a geek, and this kid nails the look. The girl just needs a different hairstyle, and she'd do for MJ.
As long as they cast a teenager (or someone who can pass for one - Levitt-Gordon's too old if they're setting this during Spidey's high school years. If it was college, however...) and can ACT, and the choice isn't too much of a pretty boy, it'll work. That's what Maguire had going for him - he looked a bit average and nebbishy, perfect for Parker. Only thing I'd add is Spidey needs to be more of a smart-aleck this time around, cracking jokes, bad puns, etc. like in the comics.
Plus, if they cast a teen actor, they should follow the Harry Potter formula - shoot 'em back to back while the cast is young. OR... skip the films, and do a TV series like Smallville (except have the characters in COSTUME. Remember, the story's about a SUPERHERO not just an average teen).

I love that Spidey...lol.Let Tony Jaa be Spider-man with the mask on and off then. It would be a huge hit in Asia.
Especially if you gave him a car and a Giant Robot.
Supaidāman!
It's not like there isn't a precedence for an Asian Spiderman.
But Asians already had their turn at being Spidey...

The word beaner is NOT a hateful remark, especially if I say it (or friends, and I consider most anyone here a friend)...amongst Mexicans, beaner is an endearing remark.

Sam Jackson Fury is more so Axcepted..., do to the Fact that in the Comicbook,.. The Ultimate Titles, Fury has been Black for over 10 Yrs.
However, Fury Die Hard Fans from the Old School Books, as well as Sgt. Fury Day's , do not really even Like the Idea .
We have covered this before, Multiple Times.
There's Only been a Few Times imo ..., where a Race Changed actually Worked in Comicbook Movies..., and that is In No Way the Answer for a Good Spider-man Film ..., More so Since he is the Main Character ,.. and the Idea of Spidey Being a Black Man just Never Happened in the Books ...
For the Record..., a Mexican Spidey wouldn't work out so well either...
