I think it's time to make Spidrman a black guy. Theres no reason not to. If they want to modernize it so be it. Besides he's all covered. Theres a reason Spiderman is so huge across the different communities and countries. Like Snake Eyes he could be YOU!
Also I feel EXTREMELY strongly that I would like to see a Jackie Chan typein the Spiderman suit doing a thing we used to call "STUNTS"
Jackie Chan is much better than watching a computer game. I always got bored watching someone else play while I just sat there.
Casting aside. If its another video game movie I wont go. And after Avatar you know it will be but . . hey open minded maybe it could happen maybe we could have a live action film !!
I still get more of a thrill watching Nicolas Hammond or his stunt double scaling up a HUGE skyscraper !
As for being optimistic from what I hear the movie will be almost 100% aimed at the teen girl demographic to score money.
Okay open minded. . . I dont care who they have play Parker because I want to see lots of live action superhero adventuring with stunt men and no love story.
I miss teh days when superhero movies were true B Flicks. That way content didnt get sacrificed over demographics.

Cast SPIDERMAN(Open Minded People Only Please)
Rather than scream that the New Spiderman reboot will suck...without even have seen it...I prefer to be optimistic.
so in that spirit...let's try and cast the Teenage Peter Parker. My pick is Thomas Dekker from "Terminator:The Sarah Conner Chronicles.
