Well to be fair, it's not Marvel, it's Sony.

The movies under Marvel Studios control are Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers.

If Sony is going to reboot the Spider-Man movies, why wouldn't they correct their oversight in the previous series and make Peter's love interest Gwen in the first movie? They can always bring MJ back later in the series.

I have always advocated for Gwen Stacy over Mary Jane since even before the first Spidey movie was even made.

In theory, I always thought Kilmer would make a much better Batman, but it turned out Keaton was in fact the standout in that series.

Even Clooney had so much potential after I saw him in From Dusk 'til Dawn.

At least in Batman Begins/Dark Knight we finally have someone convincing as both, and Christian Bale is a great actor to boot.
