The first 4 Batman movies used the same kind of stunt casting as the TV show, so it's basically been done.

The subtle difference I'm thinking is TV CALIBER GUEST STARS! In that Love Boat kind of thing. Nicholson, Pffeiffer, Carey, Arnie, Uma, don't really do TV.
