I've been a Conan fan for about 35 years now.
Many years before that abomination of a story they made into a movie with Arnold.
He was so wrong for that role. Big, clumsy, and oafish.
Nothing like the way the original author (Robert E Howard) described him.

I think BWS did about the best job of capturing the look of Howard's Conan.

Tall and muscular, sinewy, and agile.
Not a big hulking body builder type, but more someone who is just strong from constant hard work and toil.
I picture something more like the warrirors from 13th warrior, than someone like the Rock.

    So this guy would do.
If he gets into the gym and works on his tone and definition a bit.
He's tall. And proportions aren't bad, just a little soft.
And I think he can pull off barbaric.

I think a lot of the traits he had as the Ronon character on Atlantis translate perfectly to Conan.
    Silent and brooding.
Loud and boistrous when he was having fun.
Quick and silent hunter, who used his head.
And someone who would just cut loose in a fight and go full bore.
