It will be interesting to see if they try and "Twilight"-up Conan given this casting.

Although I'm sure it will be better than this guy...

He was like watching a giant log trying to perform. He really didn't have any of Arnie's charisma at all, which I think would be key for the character.

Michael Keaton at least had the suit.............this guy is Lame when I think of Conan i think of a Huge Savage warrior not a reject from the Soap Operas

This is also Conan to me I have collected for close to thirty years and currently collect the new comic so let me say this.Hell no he is not Conan unless he packs on 50lbs of muscle to his chest and arms!!!
Never cared for him to much on Atlantis either so I'm not impressed so far.
It's like when they cast Sorbo as Kull!?!?!?

Who ever takes over the role needs to be closer in physique to Arnold.

An amazing artist. One of the all time best. Loved his Masters of the Universe paintings.

Hmmmm....

Not impressed. Conan is a tough character to cast 'cos he's supposed to have a ferral edge that few actors can pull off. (Arnie couldn't, this guy looks like he'd cry if they made him try....) On top of that, he's supposed to be huge AND nimble. (Arnie had the huge, but not the moves.) The Rock kinda has the look, but he's way too "teddy bear" for the role.

Not a big deal in the scheme of the world but I'm friends with Simmone known her for over 10 years

Since Conan doesn't have a costume and mask to hide behind, you've got to cast him on looks too, and this guy ain't got that Conan look. He may be the greatest actor ever (which I doubt) but I can't see him pulling off the role or getting the Conan fans excited.
