John Malkovich is The Vulture in Spidey 4!

    Malkovich Confirms Vulture Role in Spider-Man 4 - ComingSoon.net

"When conductor Simona Ventura asked him about his role of Vulture in the movie, he not only didn't deny his involvement, but confirmed that he's waiting for the final script to be sent to him, and that the movie has been delayed. He also hopes that shooting will begin as soon as possible."

Some may remember that Malkovich was the alternate choice to play the Green Goblin in the first "Spider-Man" movie, a role that went to his Shadow of the Vampire co-star Willem Dafoe, so it has always made perfect sense that Raimi would be interested in him to play a Spidey villain.

Malkovich is a Fantastic Actor .
I am sure He will not Disapoint.
However I really wanted Rino and Scorpion in the 4th Flick .., or 1 of them with the Lizard.

Great casting, but I hope the Lizard shows up too, or at least teases us for Spidey 5.

I thought Tony Randall would have been perfect before he died. John is too young.

I think Jackie Earl Haley would have been excellent but John Malkovich is a very strong actor

I love Malkovich as THE VULTURE for Spidey 4----I was even thrilled
to see what went down in the decidedly shoddy Spidey 3 so
THIS is just going to be sweet. Great. Great Great.

With VULTURE out of the way, I'd say that RHINO, SCORPION and LIZARD
are the next great choices. Although, I'm sure there are those
thinking of MYSTERIO (when it comes to the last big gun classic
villains that haven't come up yet) and, personally,
I've always had a sweet spot for ELECTRO---but as I said
earlier I am thrilled with "Malkovich as Vulture". Wow.

And, another thing regarding the LIZARD...you know for what it's worth,
Lizard/"Classic Spidey" fans should be kinda satisfied,
as he HAS been getting a nice share of screen time at this point
even IF he's just been Dr. Connors so far.

duuuuude...I watch JURASSIC 2 and ALIENS 3 constantly...he's great and
I agree woulda made a great VULTURE.

I have to say I "do" get a kick out of the marquee value of Malkovich though.

Then when do you get time to watch Superman 3? Seriously, Malkovich is cool, but Postlethwait would have been perfect.

                              I fit it in. (wink-wink)

Seriously, tho, I have a weak spot for sequels of all kinds.
I do have my limits tho' and there are some sequels I just
think have little redeeming value....JP2, A3 and S3 aren't on that list tho

Really, not to be flip, but I could go with either.
