Unless Morrison is driving about the country buying it up, people are buying it. If your event weren't around it would be the top comic.

Most everything Blackest Night is in 2nd, 3rd, 4th and even 5th Printing Bro.

If people like Dick as Batman so be it..., Thats why there is something for everyone in comic land I suppose ... it's just a constant topic whenever I go into my comic shop, that no one is reading, here and other places I go too. But then again,.. no one was Supposively reading All Star Batman and Robin either.

Uhh, B and R 1 is on its 3 or 4th printing, too. I don't think there were too many people buying all star after it became obvious it was total garbage.

Unless the rules have changed, top ten sales do not equate actual books sold to readers. I don't know if/how it might have been revamped in the past few years, but up until '05, the top ten was publisher sales to distributors, not distributor to reader. If that still holds, it probably explains the Batman disconnect.

I haven't been reading the Bat-books, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings for Bruce to retire for awhile and let Dick be Batman. Like an extended Prodigal storyline. But give Bruce something to do, like run the JLA from behind the scenes or something. Oddly enough, much like Samurainoir is thinking Marvel will do with Steve and SHIELD.

But jettison Damian, and make Tim Robin again. I can't STAND that puke.

I'll still take USAgent over that new incarnation of Bucky any day. Walker is just one of my favs. Love his attitude and his dedication to whatever he is up to. He has been through several incarnations with costumes and sheilds and now for some reason he is back to the original (sorta) "The Captain" outfit and metal shield.

Good characters last. The "new" Bucky Cap is just a gimmick to do something with Steve Rogers and tease the hard core fans like me and make us go..."Gee will he ever be back as Captain America?"

You do know that Bucky has been around as long as Cap himself has right? Even when he's been "dead" he was always a fairly constant presence in flashbacks and retcons like The Invaders.

I never really dig USAgent in any of his solo outings, but I'd say he's one of the best "spoiler" characters in a group dynamic... particularly during his West Coast Avengers days. Same reason why Guy Gardner was so popular in JLI or his initial GL Corps appearances, or Hakweye back in the early Avengers days, or even Wolverine as he initially clashed with authority in the X-Men. Everyone loves that guy who walks into the clubhouse and kicks over the table right?

I loved John Walker as the Super-Patriot, He was the Randy Macho Man Savage to Steve Rogers' Hulk Hogan. Will Cap weild the shield again? ABSOLUTELY. But The best direction to go would be for Barnes to don the cowl of Nomad, who was not only Steve's alter ego, But it also would make amends for him killing Jack Monroe.

Wasn't Walker Captain America again quite recently too? I seem to recall that he was the Captain America running around in The New Invaders wasn't he? Before showing up again in The Captain uniform in Omega Flight.

I kind of wish there was a decent action figure of USAgent in The Captain uniform with his own original sculpt. Particularly one tha emphasizes the fact that he's bigger and has harder features than Steve Rogers. It always bothered me that the original 'Toy Big USAgent was just a repaint where you could even see the sculpt of the Captain America uniform.

So what's up with all these Classic Steve Roger's Pic's for the Upcomming Siege book ? ... Does Steve become head of S.H.E.I.L.D. Afterwards ?
Marvel is starting to release images for something called "The Heroic Age". Might me their next event. Anyway, the images focus on Cap (Steve), Iron Man, & Thor. I think it's the end of the Civil War / Dark Reign / Siege arc.

No kidding. I've been surprised by a lot of the Dark Reign stuff. I like how some of the 2nd tier villians have been fleshed out. But, there's been a lot of pain on this roller coaster.

BTW, someone mentioned that Bucky should take up the Nomad mantle. I think the old Heroes Reborn girl Bucky is using that title now.

I also have to add my name to those that have grown to appreciate Bucky Cap. When Rogers is back in the winged cowl, I hope that we can get a Bucky/Black Widow title. You know what could be interesting is a Crossbones/Sin title that could run alongside a Bucky/Blackwidow title. It would be the same story from two different perspectives.
