    Hmmmm....

    I haven't seen it since it first ran; but I remember it being kinda nifty. Another one of them "make it look like a comic book" films that didn't do so good until the Keaton Batman made that style popular.

    ....and I kinda liked the Highwayman too; but it got old real fast. Pity, 'cos it was a neat idea.

      The biggest mistake this movie made was to make Denny Colt an outsider, the point of the Spirit seemed to be that he had files on everybody in town, with him dead, criminals got sloppy.

      I never understood why they changed that, met Eisner once, he HATED this movie, I can't imagine what he'd think of Miller's "opus".

      and I kinda liked the Highwayman too; but it got old real fast. Pity, 'cos it was a neat idea.
      I know the show was somewhat contrived in some places but the idea of it being a "semi future" almost another dimension, really appealed to me. Jane Badler also really appealed to me.

      They went "clip show" way too fast though.
