I was going to write this as well.

Though I didn't think it was a problem that the beard went away - i had a problem that when he reverted to Banner THE BEARD CAME BACK!!!

I love the Thor episode because of its cheesyness. Thor was over the top. We would have it on in the background while we played cards in college often. It was just a good drinkin movie.

The DD movie I liked b/c I loved DD and liked seeing Kingpin come to life but I also disliked it because it was done so poorly.

The final Hulk movie (which is debated whether it was supposed to be the end) was cinematically the best of the 3. I thought it provided some closure to the series even if it had inaccuracies.

The pilot was AWESOME and as mentioned Married was the bes. The other season 2 parters ranged from good (Mystery Man) to awful (a death in the family)

            Thor was pretty cool.
I love it when banner takes him to the biker bar...

              Then the follow-up:

              "I was looking for a man -- "

              "And you've found one!!"

I've thought long and hard about the beard/transformation thingy.
This is my theory. Every part of the Hulk gets bigger right? Like, when he changes, the greenish hair just grows up over his regular hair? This actually makes more sense (oh boy) then the idea that his hair lengthens and changes colour, only to revert back to Banner's. I mean, your skin and even your eye colour might change and return, but you'd have to go to the salon for even semi-permanent green hair. Therefore, it is my considered opinion that the beard simply disappears within the new, larger features of the Hulk, and returns when the swelling subsides.

I've met Lou Ferrigno quite a number of times now and in his book "My Incredible Life as the Hulk" even he acknowledges this goof and he himself wonders why the Hulk didn't have a green beard.

Then again, the cheesiness of the reunion movies was partially the result of the studio that made them. New World Productions, owned by Roger Corman, owned the rights to the Marvel characters at that time. You want a crappy film? Call them. As opposed to Universal, New World made these movies on the cheap.

In terms of the original series, I completely agree about the season two kick off episode, Married. It is indeed a can't miss episode and would be a great love to story to show your sweet heart. Bill Bixby, Lou Ferrigno, and Marriette Hartley were all in top, rare form in this episode and Marriette even won a Television Emmy Award for her portrayal of Dr. Carolyn Fields Banner.

In the Incredible Hulk Returns, Thor's best comical lines is his interaction with
                  Jack McGee.

THOR: What is it you pound on my door with such insolence!!!

MCGEE: Insolence, uh no no uh uh uh. I'm uh uhuh looking for a man whom I...........

                  THOR: You have found one.

MCGEE: Yeah, well this is a particular man................

THOR: Oh I am a particular man, especially about those I speak with! And I do not like your face! You look like a rat tailed saxon to me or a thieving kilt!!!!!

MCGEE: Well, I was looking for this guy Banyon...............

THOR: Well then you have found him mush spine! I am Banyon!!

MCGEE: Ye You're Banyon? Well uh , this must be another Banyon. I'm sorry to have bothered you. Well, have a nice day.

                  Priceless!!!

                  Cheers.
