The Next DCU animated movie revealed!!!

    Sounds right up my alley!

    From World's Finest:

The back cover art for the upcoming Blu-ray and Two-Disc Special Edition DVD release of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies has unveiled the title of the next feature in the "DC Universe Animated Original Movie" line.

According to the back cover art for the upcoming Blu-ray and Two-Disc Special Edition DVD release of Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, hitting shelves next month, the title of the next direct-to-video animated feature from the popular "DC Universe Animated Original Movie" line is Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League Unlimited) is listed as the writer for this upcoming feature. Official details on Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths are not expected until later this year.

Click here to view the Superman/Batman: Public Enemies home video release package artwork featuring the title. An early 2010 release date is expected for Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths.

    Stay tuned for further updates.

Very cool news. Glad to see JLU coming back in some form. Odd that they are doing 2 JL type stories back to back though. Since it is JLU, will we be getting Conroy as Bats again? I hope so.

My bet is it's JLA #21-22, the first "Crisis" Stories.

It doesn't state anywhere that it's in JLU continuity. It could be, or it could be a straight adaptation of the first Crisis stories, with the Silver Age JLA. Either way, It'd be good to tap the JLU voice cast for this.

Dwayne McDuffie writing it could lend some credibility to the JLU angle, though.

That's exciting news. I've been down with everything that WB has released but couldn't feign as much excitement about adapatations of 90s "Event" books.

Yeah, Judas Contract got shelved. Hopefully as the Cartoon Network series gets older, the chances of getting this increases.

I'm hoping its the first team up of the silver and golden age heros! I kinda lost interest in any of the films based on new stuff.
I have noticed, with Brave and the Bold, and the Frontierstoon flic, that there is some fondness for the silver age at WB, so hopefully that spills over into this project!!

If the current comic continuity is so great then why do they feel the need to use the old Pre-Crisis continuity whenever they do these major projects?
                        Hmmmm?

^^ And Bruce Timm and co. obviously love the old school DC stuff.

I don't think ANYONE thinks the current continuity is great, even those in the middle of it. But they won't just hit that reset button, despite several opportunities to do so.
