I think Sam is Good for Fury,.. & Here is Why.
I will resort back to my Monologing comment,.. in the Sinestro Suggestion Thread. Having Not personally read any complete Fueled Fury book,.. in anything I have ever Read,.. where he shows up as a Guest so to speak,.. Fury always goes into the Monologing rant about whatever,.. or whatever needs to be Done.
With that being said,.. I want someone in that Character that I personally am going to pay attention too,.. during those Boring Monologing scenes... There is very few Actor's imo that can pull that off,.. without it being completely boring..., Sam Jackson is 1 of them,.. Morgan FreeMan another.
I enjoy just Hearing them Talk.

I love Samuel Jackson and he will always be one of those Dudes that when he shows up on screen, I'll sit a little more forward in my seat, because, "HEY! It's Samuel Jackson! I love that Dude!".
Now, that being said, it worked to great effect in the little "here is your reward for staying to the end of Iron Man's credits. Aren't you glad you did?" Well, yes I wuz because it was Sam Jackson. He could have been wearing a dress and claiming he was Pepper Potts and I would have thought it was the best thing ever. My excitement was in a surprise effect by Sam Jackson.....Nick Fury was and afterthought.
That little effect aside, I don't think he is the best choice for Nick Fury. Ultimately, I felt ripped-off, but still, Sam Jackson showed up and I wasn't expecting him. See the spiral I got caught up in?Comment
