Here's an example of Mr.Quitely's Art(if you can call it that). Can anybody here tell me that it even looks like Robin?

He's Damian assuming the role of Robin. Sheesh. If you don't like it fine, but take a break from bashing it every chance you get. It must get boring hunting down art to post and stuff. Besides that how can you drag something thru the mud that you refuse to even look at. Sure I can't stand Jim Lee, but its after giving him a try on Hush and All Star Crapman. Its pretty pin up art and nothing more with Mr. Lee.

Ok, here it is. THE NEW BATMOBILE SUCKS, the new ROBIN SUCKS, the NEW ROBIN OUTFIT SUCKS, Dick as Batman-been there done that nothing original.

Not quite sure I'm understanding what you want from this title given your assessment of the first issue. Do you want to see something original, or do you want them to go back to the status quo? You can't complain about lack of originality if you wish for them to return to the way things were before the "new". ie) "Bruce as Batman-been there done that for 70 years nothing original"

So there is only a finite amount of stories that can be told with Dick as Batman? Certainly he's a much more interesting character than the short glimpse we saw post-Knightfall, given his 7 decades, from growing up as Batman's sidekick, to his adventures with the Teen Titans, to his days as Nightwing.

I understand that it's a rotating art team. Would folks be happier if Jim Lee or Gary Frank or Tim Sale jumped on for an arc?

For Me Personally it is Not really a matter of the Artist ... I like Quintley Just fine,...( I do Think the Guy Looks like a Freak'in Bum That Begg's for Cash on a Street Corner though,.. if those Wizard Pics are Accurate) I however dislike the Direction of all this Nonsense,.. & To Be Honest I do Think that Damian Looked Better in His Hoodie & Robin Shirt instead of this New Costume...

For Me ,.. it's More so,.. I don't wanna See Dick as Batman,.. Not ever. I do Not find that Appealing at All,.. & Will not support that Nonsense. Having Not picked up this New Series,.. I dunno the Writing Angle,.. So I can not speak like I do,.. However from what I have read so far leading up to this,.. I grew Tired Really Fast of the Writing of Dick's Emotional Stuggle with Trying to Fill Bruces Shoes Dressed Up as the Batman. It's too Damn Boring for Me,.. & I just don't care Enough.

I however Do Like the Interaction with Damian & Dick. I think that part Makes for Great Reading,.. & Do Like the Direction of Tim Searching for Bruce,.. if that is infact whayt Red Robin will Be about. & With That Yost Guy Writing Red Robin,.. that might Make for an Even Better Read For me,.. Because I am Way into his X-Force Run So far....

I just think they had Something Else,.. that ended far too Quickly... & That Being Todd in the BatSuit with His Punisher Brand of MisGuided Justice. That Made for some Good Reading,.. & Should have lasted a lot longer than Just 3 Flipp'in Issues .

I just don't care enough about Dick & Damian dressed up as Batman & Robin to even Support this... There is Seriously Not that Many People I do Know of Into Comics that Really Are Either,... To Be Honest,.. You,.. Bolt & Troy are really the Only Ones I have heard or Read that are... into this Full Steam.

I was at my Local Comicbook Shop on Sat,.. there was actually a Discussion about this,.. amung Many,.. Many other things,.. Like there always is,.. & No one there was into this BS either,.. Nore the Black Cap Nonsense.

Batman being my favorite DC character I was worried. But so far I'm liking
the new take. More than even inverted personalities as Damian is way colder than Bruce was. Maybe after a year of this I'll think it sucks and want a return to the status quo. Right now I'm enjoying it. It's Batman but it's fresh.
