    DeathStroke.
Teen Titan's new Series.... Like issue 3. Dude Pulled out a Shot Gun at Point blank Range & Blew Impulse/ Kid Flash's Knee Cap Off. + The Guy fights the Child Super Hero's ... & In Identity Crisis,.. DeathStroke Took Down the Intire JLA, Minus the Big 3 in 2 Pages,.. & 7 Seconds. Also in Villians United, the Guy Shot was it Uncle Sam,.. or the Phantom Lady point Blank in the Face,.. & Said,.. Something like, they are the Bad Guys,.. Thats what they do.

    DarkSied.
To Me this Guy is the Ultimate Face of Evil in the DCU ... I just feel he needs more love as of late ...

    CyBorg Superman.
This Guy Destroyed Coast City,.. Killed over 100,00 Thousand People,.. & Ultimately Propelled Hal Jordan to the DarkSide of the Paralax. He Broke one of the Most Honest Super Hero's Ever. Made him go down a Path that he shouldn't have,.. That says a lot imo.

Sinestro. This Guy is Just Evil. Go pick up any New Johns Story arc with him in it.

Always Been a Fan of Bizarro.
Someone Having Superman's Powers,... in the Body of an Idiot,.. Can't bost well for the DCU.

My Favorite Shade of Grey in the DCU is Catman & DeadShot.
Ever Since Villian's United , when the 2 were teamed together,.. These guys just don't give a Damn,.. & will do whatever it takes to get what they need to Done.

The New Orange Lantern,.. LarFleeze.... Has some serious Potential too imo,.. with his 1st 2 issues. Love the "Greed" Angle.

actually when Terminator shot Impluse wasn't he technically Joseph?

i agree with your list with some additions..

joker, you can't have a villians list without him- technically killed Jason Todd, paralized Babs. he's # 2 in my book behind Darksied.

Black Atom- as the main villain for the marvels how do you beat someone who is as powerful as you are? i think he's suffering from over exposure right now though.
Looking for Infinite Heroes Robin and Catwoman
      And Super Powers Batman

I dunno,.. I don't think he was... Remember when Bart was running around that city,.. then he flew down that Alley..., met up with the DeathStroke,.. then spent the next couple of issues in the Hospital,.. comming back as Kid Flash ?... I don't remember Joseph there.....

I Was gonna Add Joker,.. for the reasons you named,.. However as Psycho As Joker is,.. & for some reason he can Just F with Bruce,.. I just don't think the Guy is one of the Best Villians... I like the character,.. But I figured someone Else would Name Him... Look at Ras Al Ghul ..., the Guy to me is the Biggest Baddie in the Batman Mythos,.. He's Basically Hitler,.. with his Army, Hell bent on World Domination. In Bride & Son of the Demon,.. Bruce was kinda Pushed to his Limits trying to take this Guy Down... Great Stories on the True Potential of the character....

I did like the end of what was it,.. Infinite Crisis,.. Where Joke Shot & Killed the Alex Luthor Character,.. Because he didn't " Let him Play" . lol....

Joker's just one of those characters,.. that when you let your Guard Down,.. He strikes. I think it makes him more Dangerous,.. rather than one of the "Biggest Baddies".

Black Atom- as the main villain for the marvels how do you beat someone who is as powerful as you are? i think he's suffering from over exposure right now though.
I was gonna Name Him too.
But with everyone on the Forum that seem to be on a Hate-Adam Kick I didn't.... It took just about the Entire Hero Roster of A, B, & C with some D listers to Take that guy out in World War 3 .... I think that Says alot.

I also think the Direction of SuperBoy Prime in the Last Few yrs,.. Has Made the Guy One of the Biggest Baddies in the DCU. Dude Took out,.. was it Earth2 Superman,.. & Conner Superboy,.. & it took some serious Hero's to defeat him. Dude's a Bad Arse.

Joker and Lex Luthor. Possibly two of the greatest fictional villians of all time. I much prefer the golden age Joker, who was more ruthless than crazy insane. Luthor, probably the 50-70's mad scientist version.

You cant beat these guys for their sheer tenacity. They have been trying for 60 years to beat their nemesis....and will be doing so for 60 more!

The problem with all of the named villains is that DC overuses them to the point of them becoming less than great. A Joker appearance used to be a big deal...now he's in like every other issue. The worst is the constant elseworlds spins on Batman & the Joker. He should go away for a couple years, come back in a huge insane storyline.
Ditto Black Adam, Deathstroke, & Luthor. And Bizarro gets mishandled more than any other Dc villain, with the exception of Solomon Grundy. No consistency between appearances.

Ras Al Ghul is a great villain, his first appearances being the best. I like the original Reverse-Flash, The Royal Flush Gang (hey, goofy playing card bandits is Vegas cool, baby!). Green Lantern villains The Shark & Sinestro. And I always liked the original western Terra-Man.

Oh, and Gail Simone's The Secret Six is fantastic, I couldn't recommend that book enough. RagDoll is super-creepy, Catman is cool, Savage is deadly, Jeannette is way interesting, and even Bane is great in this title. Deadshot is ok, not a favorite of mine, but he works well in this series.

                I disagree.
DeadShot Makes that Book,.. with his Constant Display of Arse-Hole Coolism... Look at the Last book,.. Date Night,... Man ,.. you Can't Get any Cooler being an Assasin / Highered Gun that He was in that book.

Personally I could care less if I ever saw Darkseid again. So sick of that character.
I wish they'd get rid of the Cyborg Superman as well. I am so sick of that guy even more than Darkseid.
I guess Darkseid is kind of the iconic DC villain though (as well as Luthor).
I was reading some pre-COIE DC Comics Presents though and Mongul (at least back then) was a pretty mean dude.

Always liked Prometheus, he pretty much took down the JLA, too. He just couldn't outsmart Batman. In JLA/ Avengers, Captain America wiped the floor with him, tho.
As far as total rogue's galleries go, Bats and Flash have the market cornered. Superman has a few good ones, but after you get thru Luthor, Bizarro and Brainiac, what is there? Toyman, Prankster, and Mxy. The Superman cartoon from Timm did a lot to make the b listers seem a bit more formidable, and established Darkseid as a Superman villain.

Darkseid was always a Superman villain. His first appearance was in Jimmy Olsen comics.

My list of the best of the baddest of the DCU would include:

                              The Joker

Luthor(moreso the Silver Age version up to and including the Pre-Crisis warsuit....never a big fan of businessman Luthor or President Luthor)

                              Brainiac (preferably Silver Age)

Darkseid (although he has been over-exposed as of late...I always liked when he'd pop up once in a while to take on guys like the JLA or the Legion....but now it seems like everyone fights Darkseid.

Deathstroke (again, over-exposed as of late...when he originally fought the New Teen Titans his appearances were few and far between but very eventful. He definitely had their number back then. Now it's just silly with all of his kids running around and his little Titans East team and him being on par with Darkseid, as far as the fact that he seems to be everyone's enemy now.)

Professor Zoom, The Reverse-Flash (the original, not Hunter Zolomon...he did some serious mental damage to Barry Allen back in the day)

Speaking of the Flash, Captain Cold and Heatwave are two of my favorite Rogues.

And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention The Gentleman Ghost, Killer Moth, Deadshot, Black Manta, Ocean Master, Calendar Man, Signalman, Eclipso, Star Sapphire, Dr. Light as favorites....some of them are "jokes" today but they're still favorites
Think OUTSIDE the Box! For the BEST in Repro & Custom Packaging!
