Deadpool film starring Ryan Reynolds

Regarding Ryan Reynold's casting as The Flash, I'm assuming we want him as Wally West.

I can't see him as Barry.

Let's look at it this way, given the development hell that is the DCU comic book movies, if Reynolds is in Deadpool and it's a hit, I would imagine that he could get a greenlight as Flash in an instant as soon as the Friday night box office tally comes in.

He stated a while back that he turned down the role of Flash because he wanted to be a more "serious" actor. He was so "serious" that he broke up with Alanis Morrisette. His last couple of movies were that, but maybe he has changed his mind. I just want to see him wear the costume that he wears in the comic. I can't stand taking iconic versions of characters and tossing them out the door.

am i the only one who dislikes ryan reynolds? bad casting to begin with the guy from death race and nip tuck would of played a better deadpool.

I don't know Deadpool is not in my top ten of Superheros I want to see on the big screen.
He's more of a supporting character very much like the Punisher. Who should have never gotten his own movies they just don't translate well.
