^^ I took the Hawk's "death" more like what happened to Wonder Woman in the original Crisis. She was zapped by the Anti Monitor and later it was explained what really happened to her. In the case of FC, the results weren't handled in the series, just a dangling plot thread for someone else to take and run with.
